Boca Raton Fall 2026 Restaurants: What’s Open Now

Ask anyone who has lived in Boca Raton for more than a season where a new restaurant will open, and the answer comes fast: somewhere near Mizner Park. That's been the safe bet for years. It's wrong for this fall.

Walk the list of what's actually opening between now and the holidays and a different map appears. Three of the season's most talked-about arrivals are inside a shopping mall out along Glades Road, well west of downtown. The single most anticipated new concept downtown didn't pick the amphitheater block at all. It picked a different downtown property entirely. If you've been circling Mizner Park all summer waiting for news, you've been watching the wrong corner of the city.

The Mall Quietly Turned Into a Dinner Reservation

Town Center at Boca Raton, at 6000 Glades Road, has spent years as a shopping destination with a food court attached. That's changing. Felice, a Tuscan concept from restaurateur Jacopo Giustiniani and SA Hospitality Group, the company behind Sant Ambroeus and Casa Lever, is building around handmade pastas and a wine program drawn from the family's own vineyard. Felice already runs more than a dozen locations across New York, Long Island, Connecticut, and Florida, and Town Center currently lists it as "coming soon" with no firm date, which in mall-leasing language usually means the fall is close.

Right alongside it, Limani Grill is bringing a Mediterranean seafood program built on crudo, charcoal-grilled specialties, first-pressed Kalamata olive oil, and Santorini capers. A few minutes away on Town Center Road, MOTEK is taking over the former Fiolina space with a 220-seat room and a menu rooted in Tel Aviv street food, on what the brand is calling Restaurant Row.

None of these are food-court additions. They're the kind of reservation-only, date-night rooms that used to require a trip downtown. The mall didn't get busier. It got a dinner menu.

Royal Palm Place, Not Mizner Park, Got the Marquee Opening

Downtown proper is still getting new restaurants, but not where the habit points. Fletchers, the season's most-covered opening, is landing at 133 SE Mizner Boulevard inside Royal Palm Place, a separate shopping and dining property from Mizner Park itself. Royal Palm Place is owned and managed by Investments Limited, the Boca Raton real estate firm founded in 1970 by James H. and Marta T. Batmasian, which relocated to the city in 1983 and now manages more than 200 shopping centers across South Florida.

Fletchers is a 3,800 square foot, 120-seat room with a 40-seat private membership club attached, run by chef Michael Stember, a former Olympian who built a following through his invitation-only Sushi Belly Tower pop-ups before co-founding Ponyboy in Brooklyn, a background TAPinto Boca Raton covered in detail when the concept was announced. The menu blends new American cooking with Japanese and Mediterranean influences. Co-founder Sam Meitus, who lives in West Boca Raton, put the bet plainly in the concept's launch announcement:

"Boca Raton is on fire with companies and young professionals flocking here, and we are so inspired by this rapid growth."

Fletchers isn't arriving into empty ground. Sushi By Bou has operated at 409 SE Mizner Boulevard, also inside Royal Palm Place, since 2023, and this summer it relaunched its menu under Chef Pushkar Marathe with an American-classics direction. Two of the district's most-watched rooms are now sitting on the same block, and neither one is technically "at Mizner Park."

What's Actually Open, Opening, or Already Gone

Every roundup of new restaurants leaves out the other half of the ledger. In early June, two restaurants closed after brief runs, one in Delray Beach and one in West Boca Raton. Neither made it a year. That's worth holding next to the dozen names above. A wave of openings this dense doesn't mean every concept survives it, and a resident planning where to eat on a random Tuesday is better served by what's actually staffed and seated tonight than by a rendering that's still labeled "coming soon."

For that reason, if you want dinner this week rather than a reservation for November, Piacere on Yamato Road is open now, Nômade has been running since earlier this summer, and Panda Express finished its own community celebration in mid-August. Holy Schnitzel, once it lands in the former Boca Grill space on Glades Road, will be the fastest, most casual of the group. Felice, Limani, Il Migliore, and Fletchers are all still ahead of you.

Even the Food Festivals Skip the Amphitheater

The same pattern shows up in the city's own festival calendar. Sanborn Square Park, at 72 N. Federal Highway, sits just south of Mizner Park, and it's where Boca puts its two signature food festivals, not inside the amphitheater itself. The 13th Annual Boca Burger Battle, billed as Florida's longest-running burger competition, filled the square on July 11 with off-menu creations from eighteen South Florida chefs. The 13th Annual Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival returns to the same park on November 21, with the Grand Tasting running from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and proceeds benefiting the Children's Giving Foundation.

Both events predate this year's restaurant wave by more than a decade. Neither one needed a single new lease signed at Town Center or Royal Palm Place to keep drawing a crowd, and neither one happens at Mizner Park proper.

Read the Map Before You Read the Menu

The city's dining scene isn't contracting toward one district. It's splitting into two, and neither half is the one habit points to. Town Center has become a place to book dinner, not just browse retail. Royal Palm Place, a separate downtown property from the amphitheater block, is where the season's most ambitious concept chose to land. Mizner Park itself is still doing what it's always done best, anchoring the free public calendar that doesn't need a lease or an opening date to show up on time.
